An Introduction

"A man would have better luck trying to reclaim all the feathers of a pillowcase torn apart in a windstorm than to undo a single lie told about him."

We here at FrankDux.com are not obligated to discuss Hanshi Dux's controversy. We could pretend that the issues do not exist and deny the individuals and institutions that have brought false shame on Hanshi Dux. But, as warriors, passivity against great injustice is not in our nature. Rather than exercise censorship, out of fairness to the people interested in the truth, this section has been created. Most importantly, this section has been created by Hanshi Dux with his own writing and wisdom.

Hanshi Dux is renowned as one of the great martial artists of this century. Unfortunately, when one man achieves so much success, other men will find it advantageous to exploit these successes; journalists looking for a hot story; writers wanting some controversial material; and bureaucrats trying to deny actions by denying (even destroying) witnesses.

And so, the attacks, the slander, and the denial began. The actions of these individuals and institutions are regrettable for it reflects their own lack of integrity. But, most unfortunately for them, they showed disrespect to a man infinitely better trained in spiritual, mental, and physical conflict.

The following facts are not presented to defend Hanshi Dux's character. It is not in need of defending. Rather, we intend to shift the weight of "controversy" onto those Machiavellian deceiver's own shoulders. That is, to keep with "the way of warriorship," instead of drawing our own blade we turn theirs into themselves.

"The difference between the ordinary and extraordinary, specifically regarding a warrior's life, is that one's existence isn't defined by the impressive quality of one's deeds, nor by victory or defeat. Instead, it is defined by the level of risk involved in one's confronting the lack of quality in the character of one's enemy or friend."
